i love Yakiniku, We love Yakiniku!~ yes! we all Do!! :p its lovely to come here and dine and eat and i simply love the ambience coz its not crowded (never?) and best of them all is that service is fast, prompt and excellent!~

it was once again, a fantastic experience eating, chatting and laughing our hearts out! din take much pic this time as we had cam-gal, trisha! :) thks and photos way on my facebook long time ago! almost grossed out when i unintentionally ate a pcs of cow-tongue... *puke~

this time the promotion was over BUT thank god coz stanchart has some discount think 15% off? i cant rem... the bill works out to est. $36/pax. good food + good company = happy outings! :) looking forward to the next outing alrdy! :)

i was looking forward to having yet another buffet only after having shabu shabu just 3 days back! lol~ feeling greedy yet hungry! it seems all the food i have cannot satiate my endless appetites lol~

this place was recommended (strongly) by Eric and Philia. i have to say, i really had my doubts since it was jus at St James Power Station. i've passed by here on several occasions and yet, i've never really taken notice of it, worse, there's really no one here!! @_@

TO my 3 other friends and my surprise, the food is lovely!~ *slurp~ all of the food we ordered are so fresh!! and i couldnt stop eating and cooking and eating and cooking... lol~ there're 4 types of beef here and we had them all, the salmon is so nice and apparently i had to boast to my friends who had the buffet last week coz the restaurant didnt have the salmon haha~

my friends were already salivating when the scallops came... it was a pretty sight coz it was still fresh from on its shells. i had 1 and i disliked it coz it was so fresh that it tasted so raw to me... one of my friends couldnt help by keep cooking and swallowing it down her throat! lol~ it felt like she was eating oysters!! haha~

i simply love this place and i think it may not appeal to girls in general who are particular abt their food coz its more heavy as in, more meaty in many sense. they do have greens although i didnt pay much attention to them expect for its shitake mushrooms which are really soft and tender... we also had vernison (gosh, so nice!~~), chicken, pork loins, cheese sausages and many more. one may think the menu offers a limited variety of food but its so wrong coz i enjoyed myself so much and i didnt even managed to try all of the menu!! :)

The cost worked out to be approx $35/pax after factoring the GSTs and Service Charge. The price is a promotional price for a limited time only. hehehe~ so blessed!~

Glorious Saturday!!!

its a hell of fun on saturday night! amazing~~ simply out of this world. i think this has got to one of the best times. i'm loving it! francis is a real fun guy! missing it alrdy bro!! haha~

anyway about 11 of us headed to dragonfly to chill. although this was not after exam but who cares! gonna start studying after. we opened a cannon!!! WOOT! this is my first and i was really excited! TOTALLY~ couple of us were early so i took my balance out to drink before more came then we open the cannon. actually i cant wait to open! lol~ the music was fantastic and i think the guys enjoyed it to the fullest! we're lugging one another's shoulders, sing to the top of our voices! hahaha~ fun fun fun! anyway, pics up on my FB. cheers~

BOOKS!!!

i just bought 2 books recently and glad to have saved quite a bit on both of them. the other book i left it with lokz coz she helped me keep when we were at wala's yest. the book is called "Blue Ocean Strategy". its an awesome book on business. anyway, pls do get the book coz its real good, not gonna say anything. got is at a 40% discount off its retail. the above book "Nocturnes" is a book recommended by Time Magazine. normally i read the Fortune but since it was free, why not? anyway, shall finish this fiction soon. reading is good! :) and i got the above book at a 20% discount. GSS is simply AWESOME!

some of us was there to support one of our friend whose performing at Wala's. she's the keyboardist if u can figure her out. anyway, the band's pretty good. sadly, they perform only on mondays and mondays are non-chilling days for me. proli will visit them soon. i'm looking forward to EIC's performance which i cant rem when their next performance at St James with a malay vocalist. EIC's gooooood! :)

today is claire's birthday! yest she invited some of us to her party onboard. it was really fun!! oh my dogs, if only i had such a birthday bash when i was 21. too bad its over le sadness. anyway its really really fun although it rocked quite a bit and i tot i was pre-drunk before i even touched liquor.... lol~ (more pics on jack's slr, proli he will upload it to my facebook)

after the ride, jack gave me a ride down to st james (thks buddy, owe u plenty). ron, ltt, eric were waiting for me there already. its really crazy coz they ordered alot... i drank alot man~ zzz~ but was good coz it was cheap. my bro came along later wif desmond. ltt's friends, zhiwei and kenneth was there, nice meeting them and zhiwei was quite funny, this definitely wont be the last time partying wif ya bro~ kangwei was there too later, he went to boiler. i met some old friends lol~ zhihui n weida. long lost friends haha~ claudia was there so chat a lil' before she headed back to work. another lost friend... wahaha~ got to noe 2 gals there later and 1 of them i already forgot the name. i'm tired already.... gotta get more rest~ :)

today i wanted a rest since i played late on fri but it was apple's bday. and no choice, u die die also must give this charbo face else i think(personally) that she will make your life hell on earth. wahahahaha~

anyway after service, the cg went to bedok to have dinner. i went since it was early although i prefer we could have went to town to eat =X

dinner was fun and man, daniel, i love you! lol~ yeah~ wahaha. he's a hell of a joker and i cant get enough of such good jokes. its been awhile. think i'm really getting old.

after that, went to zouk to meet apple and people. man, i tot still got free entry or wat, sean told me you gotta be here at 7+ to queue and i was like 0_0

in the end sean n i managed to talk them out to go st james since it was much cheaper and we can probably get 4 ppl in for free. it sounded more lucrative to all since it was really much cheaper, apparently, i'm appalled by the fact that you needa open 3-4 bottles to get an immediate table in no reservations. eric say, might as well ask them to go and rob. moreover, it aren't cheap to open at zouk. the price is @#%#@$#@$!@_@$_.

in the end it proved much much better at st james coz apple became a member =X and for member's bday, free entry for 7 guests and additional 1 champagne! cool man~ in the end all of us went in for free. my bro came along later, also free entry lol~ powerhouse was damn crowded but we celebrated apple's bday there and she was so paiseh coz we brought the cake into the club haha!

kangwei was there with his group of friends' friends' friends (complicated) of 30+. ridiculous really. had a short chat before heading back to the gang. apple's ang was quite high later coz she say he's sleeping at one of the couch lol~ they went back 1st anyway. but was fun la. my bro is more siao den me. the time i was away, apparently, he made sean and his friend drink alot. haha~

all this fun was dashed after something came up but good thing majority of our ppl went back. seriously, thk god for protection. :)

Crazy Fri - 8/5

Seriously, i had a super crazy friday.

1st, i have to work till 630pm coz of Vesak's Day (whatever the real reason is).

2nd, i have cg meeting at 830pm and i'm playing the guitar and have to prepare song sheet.

3rd, cg meeting is at my house

4th, i have to fly down to Hard Rock to meet the gang

5th, i have to fly down after midnight to Dragonfly to meet ron and gang.

this is basically my schedule and i'm really going bonkers... anyway thk god for capacity coz i had to prepare 4 songs to play and 2 of 'em is really hard. good thing i managed to drop one hard song. for the 1st time, i had to put on gloves to play through.... 0_o''

i was preparing the songsheets so i didnt there were so many ppl coming for the meeting. in the end, had to use my printer to photocopy the balance 10+. worse, i had to rush home to prepare additional refreshments. time wasnt on my side as i had to OT till 630.

before that i was thinking if i shd tell vic that i needa leave immediately aft cg coz Jack invited me to Jack Daniel's private party at hard rock. in the end, i had to take a cab down else it will be very late. moreover i needa go and meet ron n gang after midnight asap since they were there since 9pm. the private party at hard rock was fun, simply love retro lol~

later i managed to persuade the gang to follow me powerhouse =X oops~ anyway, think the fun was only half at hard rock lor, i didnt even warm up -_-

think lp was killed by me, i decided to treat the gang to a bottle of martell. lol~ too bad jack had to drive so, he was "let off". clare was so scared since the time she was "killed". so this time lp took her place. good thing jack drove them back den i went to meet ron, ken, eric and met erica n iris there. ron was again high den we open another bottle. lol~ it was a crazy night but i really had so much fun. gotta do this again :p

was really tired. in the end left at i think around 3+. man, its bad to be so late coz i woke up early the next morning, haiz~

Labor Day.... :(

i was sick on labor day itself and didnt manage to go to the Men's Meeting in the morning.... abit sad coz such meeting's always good. i think in the end, slept till 5pm before headed out to meet kang for dinner and some drinks since i owe him 1. decided to head to Canivore @ vivo since we're going to Dragonfly after. i was the one that recommended Canivore since i had a craving for it a long long time since hearing its "greatness". it was awesome but the price was really @#$#%@%@%@($%$)%$#I%#$)@_:?.... :( anyway i enjoyed myself although the price put me off... lol~

after dinner, we went walking around since it was still early and was reeling from the fullness of dinner.... simply love it since it was a meaty meal. those who are veg-lovers, pls don't waste your time... and women, pls, don't think about it unless you're a huge eater and have a comfortable wallet! haha~ anyway went for a drink or 2 and headed home to rest... stanley asked me to give him a lift at Novena.... i was like -_-"

The gang decided to head down to powerhouse after class since it was holiday the next day. we had a new addition, DAVID!!!!! lol~ anyway it was fun having david with us together with the usuals, Kevin, Jack, Clare and myself. i met ron at Dragonfly with his friend which i cant remember the name.... (paiseh, am really bad at names... lol!) later ken also came with his friend. =X

anyway, it was david's first time out with us, i had somthing else on my mind... lol~ i wanted to "finish" him. wahahaha~ too bad he didnt managed to coz that stupid clare keep helping him pour more mixer into his share of drinks!!! grrrr~ wasted.... anyway, kev didnt went "crazy" this time coz he was driving.... wasted~ we had 2 bottles of vodka since it was one for one... man.... vodka taste like medicine i had to say.... wat to do, we're all poor students.... value!! VALUE!! =X



Jack was having fun and later he and david disappear to don't know where and happy, later jack was dancing alone with the wall! the craziness spreads!... hahah~

Updating my blog on sat 25/4.

after work, met up with Nellie, Elaine, Susan and Stanley. it was really a good time catching up with you guys. you guys are great. Likewise its a long time since we catched up, i missed you guys just as much.... gosh, Nellie said i didnt change much, as fun-loving and chatty as before which was great. we went to Swensen's and we sat for a good 1+ hour talking and catching up. i really admire u guys, having a carefree life, holidaying and stuff. i really am so jealous and i really wanna go for a holiday!!! Nel and Stan just came back from Jipun and Nel is heading to HKG May end and i really wanna go..... :( man, i think its hard since my exam is on the 6/6. haiz~ how?? i really wanna go.... anyway, proli heading to Tanjung Pinang early May with some colleagues (hope it will materialize....). i need a break away from everything.... been recovering slowly but its better now... thks to all who's been praying and there for me. luv u all!

later before heading to church, we sat @ Bakerzin's and man , i've gotta say this, the cakes are really not bad. the last cake i really enjoyed was Little Foot's. Bakerzin's are really not bad but i still gotta take my hats off Little Foot. you've gotta try it yourself. i had Foret Noir @ Bakerzin's and they had strawberry shortcake which was fluffy and soft. nice~ whilst enjoying out cakes, we planned to visit Jipun together next year. yeah, i guess i'll proli head to Manchester for my convocation when i grad. Akibhara i wan you... :p

after service, went down to boiler's at St James. was early and Audrey, Yenny came along. Ash and cousin came down later. was my 1st (according to Audrey) tat i went clubbing with her. had a short but good talk and the 4 gals stopped me from going home!!! in the end, i managed to sneak away.... lol~ sorry guys, really tired and yeah, i'll make it up to you guys some other time, been playing too much lately. well, it was quite bad of me to sneak away, guess clubbing is not my cup of tea, dragonfly and Lunar is better =X - ron when are we going? lol~

Post Exam...... - 18/4

Finally exam is over.... i think i kinda screwed up my exam this time round.... picked one qns wrongly to do.... haiz~ anyway, that aside since i did wat i could, rushed down for service altho i was late. service was awesome altho it didnt felt tat special as before, anyway, knowledge gained can be used next time! :)
was happy to get to know 2 new friends courtesy of yun. D**** and R****. altho i didnt manage to talk much to them, i felt they're really nice people. hope tat we can forge a new friendship. cheese~

rushed to dragonfly after service and i regret PR-ing awhile after service... oops!~ =X
anyway, managed to rush in before happy hours and got 2 towers for a good price lol~ m****, C***** and K**** came down shortly and we're boozing away. Good thing i managed to get a double cheese before boozing away else -__-''
anyway, met a new friend R***** and Ri*** was here. nice having Ri****, nice fella and i guess this is only our first mad outing and definitely not the last! lol~ Ka**** and friend came later. but i was having fun already! hahaha~ later, we decided to make C**** a member of dragonfly although she was a lil' disappointed coz she wanted the powerhouse card that looked kiddish.... grow up liao la~ :p
anyway, C**** knocked out and i was like 0_0"!! k**** was abt 92% coz he told me he still was conscious for 8%.... finance is knocking too much crap into ya bro~~~ thk god J*** came and rescued me else i would really be helpless. c**** totally knocked out and she was like a dead person when j*** and i carried her into his car. k**** slept in the cab with his 8% consciousness. Ri*** was nowhere found (m**** in the making???? =X)
anyway was really fun. pity L***** u didnt come and check them out when i was partying @ powerhouse lor.... kns u~ :p
